To get great sound you have to disrupt the interference from the computer
Depicted in A and B are electrical conductivity tests with a voltmeter on DaBigGenius® Audiophile USB Cable, A, and all other USB cables, B. The first result in A is null, no conductivity. B is conductive, meaning that interference can use this path to leak into your DAC and negatively affect sound quality.
Consider what we’re doing with DaBigGenius® and how it’s different than other USB cables. This cable has been modified to remove the 5 volt power lead while maintaining shielding.
The No 5 Volt cable will not work without a powered USB Device. Most DAC’s need the 5 volt power to function. Check your DAC manual to see if the USB needs power from the computer. If it doesn’t say then you likely need the power. If that is the case you should try the USB Disruptor.
For the ultimate in performance use a DaBigGenius® cable with the USB Disruptor.
